Hijink highlights....
Apr. 28th, 2002 09:14 amHere's a smidgen of the thintgs we did yesterday....
Goofed around the house, eating fantastic egg mcmuffins.
Piling into the car to go to the vintage store I fell madly in love with.
Dithering for over an hour about whether to get the porkpie hat I liked or the adorable but incredibly pricey 1910 bowler hat. Bought the porkpie. Wore that sucker allllll day.
(Memo to myself--shop around for a slightly cheaper bowler, hah?
Pet Cyn's new Angora sweater...and pet it and pet it and pet it.....
Pile into the car and head for the Milwaukee Museum of art. Eat Mama Freekee'scookies in the car. Wowwwwww!!!
Have jaw-dropping fun peeking at the Picasso and the George Grosse and their excellent Gerogia O'Keefe. Take pictures. Run around in the rain, clutching the hat all the while.
Head for a great Thai place for curry...mmmmmmm.....
Kevin suprises us by taking us to the Safe House for drinks. Too cool!!! Secret doors, secret passwords, bulletproof glass, good drinks. We sit in a booth behind the Bamboo Curtain. Giggle at the nude Burt Reynolds poster in the ladies room. Play with the two-way glass with Kevin on the other side, flipping the lights ocvcasionally so he could see me flipping him off, sticking out my tongue and acid-dancing in place...when I flip back to two-way glass, notice I've collected a crowd. Sheesh, can't take me anywhere....
Kevin roaring down the steep parts of the parking ramp with me shrieking and Cyn holding her hands up Rollercoaster-style....*giggle*
Back to Kevin's...I get to see cute baby pictures....Awwwwwwww!!!!!
This morning's laid back--I'm packed and ready for the trip home. (It-is-snowing-again...er, Kev, can I stay on your couch until the snow at home melts?Puh-leeeease?)
We have to go back to the vintage store to get Freekee's credit card, which they accidentally kept. D'oh!!! They're gonna have to hogtie me to the car to keep me from running in there and playing with that damn bowler hat some more...
*happy siiigh* What a great weekend:)
