Ah well...

I did finish the spirit mirror this weekend, and a bracelet for a 3-year old girl. (niece of a coworker--with extra elastic, since 3 year olds can be a bit hard on jewelry...I know I was...)
I did some painting with friends and spent time alone reading and watching the overcast sky. August is a strange month...always was, always will be.

Beef, music, movies...

I'm hanging out with Ben again, who made a lovely steak dinner. (The secret to cooking steak appears to be whiskey in the marinade. *scribbles in cookbook*)

If either of us can move from the beef coma, we're off to the movies in the park with my other neighbor Jen. Ben's fella won't be joining us tonight, but that meant more steak for greedy little Mauses...
