Bauhaus makes the morning better:)

...I was listening to a complilation someone made of a the heavy-rotation side of my CD collection...It was kinda cool to listen to Bauhaus and Oingo Boingo and the Cocteau Twins all lumped together with my favorite song of the day--the "Chewbacca" song by...jeez, who WERE those guys? It was a song the friend threw in because he thought I needed to hear it. He was right... Anyway, my point is that any song with Wookie noises in it is worth having:)

It's Saturday, it's nice out, and I hope my day flies right on by so I can sit in the sun and whatnot. Humming with the occasional "Arrrarrrarrr",no doubt...

So far we're having great fun...

...We're having the best time ever trashing the Customer Service (er, we mean servant..)Performance Goals we're being force-fed recently. In fact, we've been laughing for hours so far...

Not that I don't see the use of decent customer service survivial skills and whatnot, but sheesh, the stuff they gave us is just embarrasingly condescending and unworkable. One beef I've always had with this sort of thing is that it encourages ironic and untruthful interactions with people, who honestly deserve better than an insincere smile and overly agressive "help" that would scare the average low-key Minnesotan into screaming fits... (Hey, that's what it does to me, anyway. When I see a stranger smiling really widely at me and being much more friendly than the circumstances warrant, I always back away in alarm. Don't you?)
