It sounds like the connection between the keyboard and computer might be bad. You might want to make sure to blow out the plug on the back of the computer for dust. Also, it might be that there's a fault in your computer's memory that is making the keyboards not work.

Me, I would've stove a hole in the side of the pc tower with my foot. I generally have very little patience for inanimate objects that inconvenience me. This is probably why I would never be good at IT. I'm too cranky.

The whole puter? Yeek. Okay, yeah. That's not funny at all. You should talk to seebs, gomichan's spousal unit. He can build you a whole new one at pretty low prices. Or even figure out what's wrong with your present one. He's a pc-hardware prestidigitator. Fixing it sounds like it wouldn't be much. He'd probably have it back to normal in 30 seconds. He's eerie that way.

Seebs works exclusively with Macs as an interface. Almost every working computer in that house is a Mac. He just builds PCs as a sort of side business. He still might be able to tell you what's up with yours.
