One of the nice things about colder weather is it makes the knitting go faster. It's like I instinctively know that I'd better get a move on before the snow flies. Right now I'm knitting this year's mittens, with an extra strand of mohair thrown in for warmth. You may draw your own conclusions.

Matt pointed out, (and rightly, I must add) that I need more and better pictures for the knits. I think this week I should stuff some batteries in the digital camera at home and figure out how it connects to my dinosaur computer and take some decent photos of the new stuff I have. I just finished a fox-ear hat for Captain Emily, and there's a fair amount of spun stuff I don't have any photos of at all. I bought a bento box the other day, and I think it would be fun to stuff the little containers with spun wool and put in chopsticks, like a nice box of multicolored soba noodles:)

So things are good. I'm bringing more knitting to work, like I used to do in my old job. It does help me relieve stress on a break, as long as I scrub the table down first so my knitting doesn't end up with peanut butter or something all over it. *shudder* I 've been spending good time with friends and good neighbors, and yesterday I got to help feed the chickens and ducks and geese with apples Peaty brought back from a feminist co-op up north. Now my fridge is full of organic Honeygold apples. Life doesn't suck:)
