msfledermausThe daylight savings change hasn't been kind to me lately. Usually I'm delighted to sleep in an extra hour and whatnot, but this time it's just a bit of mental whiplash. Apparently I'm not alone in this respect. Everybody at work is crabby and sleepy and bewildered along with me. At least we've got each other:/
Sometimes I wake up and am immediately confused..."Where am I? What's going on? Aren't I supposed to be married or something? Did I forget something important?" And then things come back into focus. I'm here, where I am. Everything's cool, just not exactly um...normal..whatever "normal" is this week. This week apparently normal is martial law and riots in Pakistan and arguing about waterboarding as torture. Yeesh.
I've been unpacking old yarn projects at home, wondering if I can finish one, contemplating ripping out another one that's half-done. It's strange the little time-warp I feel when I look at the pieces..."Oh yeah, this was spring of last year, when I was all about the color green!"
I have an old aquaintance using some of my artwork for a thing of his...I'm actually kind of annoyed by it. The jerk could of at least asked me first:(
The noise in the breakroom is driving me crazy. I gotta go somewhere quiet for a while...
