msfledermausthe Textile department at the Jade Mines is dumping off two boxes of yarn they don't want anymore. They are the nicest people--so nice they let me have first pick of the skeins I wanted. Score!!! There was a lot of acrylic stuff in there, but I managed to load two bags full of pretty good-looking bag and rug quality lambswool in lots of funky colors. I think when I get them home I'll leave them on the back porch sealed off for a couple of days, just because they've been in storage a long time. Then I think I can make at least a couple of cool bags and maybe a neat rug or two or four. I love free stuff; it makes me happy with the dancing:)

Meanwhile,Gail the cow-irker was singing a song about cake and pie...and it filtered into the KMFDM song that was stuck in my head this morning. Now I've got, "Gonna bake me some pie, gonna bake me some pie...in a spiritual house, in a spiritual house..." She's gonna pay for that, most definitely...
