Up to my eyebrows in salmon...
Dec. 23rd, 2007 07:55 amYes, that's a powerful image:)I can see the salmon flopping around me in a big pile, with me looking distressed in the middle. That really wasn't what I was going for at all...
Matt and Erin came by my house yesterday with a huge box of salmon and bagels and bialys and cream cheese and all kinds of coolness to share with me and the neighbors. It was a beautiful sight, watching my neighbor Leslie jumping up and down in my kitchen from happiness, a half-eaten salmon bagel in her hand and her mouth full. Between the food and my sneakily shoveling out her front walk before she got there herself, she was in a state transposed. *grin* So far the weekend's been like that, with a party on the Solstice that ended with a big snowball fight outside by the bonfire and a large mutated snow-thing with a humungous beehive hairdo and dried out flowers stuck all over it's head. Also, Miss Kitty dropped by with a huge pile of Llewellyn books for me--as well as the Necronomicon Tarot. It's amazing...What does my future hold? Oh crap--apparently the ravages of Cthuhlu!!!! Ia! Ia! I have a Shoggoth for a significator!!
I haven't been on line much lately; the work computer is insanely pokey and crashes when I try to get to my email. The home computer is fine, but I've been either sick or entertaining a lot so I haven't been *on* it. So. Much. Catchup. I still have stuff to send out and the Scraggits to entertain on x-mas, but it's good to have some of that happy quiet time I wanted so badly...
So I'm off to work my clip-on tie today and get another couple of days off. I think I can swing that...I just hope that my tarot reading isn't too accurate; it's really not kosher to reanimate the dead while I'm at work...
