Materialistic wallowing...

Usually I'm not a stuff-crazed Maus by all means. I like to make things I need or find them for sale or thrift stores or whatever. I could usually care less about designer whatever, and I'm sure this has saved me endless time, money and energy in the past.

But this last weekend I went quite nuts. Lush at the Sprawl of Atrocities had a big fat sale, and I lugged home so many bath bombs and bath-goop whateverall that the bag split at Hot Topic and I had to have the drugged out kid at the counter give me one of their bags. I also bought much in the way of exciting lingerie with piratey skulls and Jack Skellington and whatnot. *Shakes head*

Last night I had a good time gooping my hair with spendy henna. It's now mostly brown with black stuff in front; not garish or anything, just shiny and browner or darker with glints of my grey hairs shining through from time to time.

And I have a party to go to later tonight, so I get to choose which outlandish fun thing in the walk-in closet wants to be worn tonight. Fez or tiara? Fez....or tiara? Fez with tiara on top of it?

*chuckle*
I have to admit, sometimes it's fun burning brain cells over this kind of stuff. I probably don't do it often enough:)

I think you're right. It's part of the femal psyche to need the occasional retail therapy...

I just don't wanna morph into a bimbo. Yes, this is a silly, silly fear:)
