I'm so over this freezing thing already...

I think the cold is making it harder for me to think. Cold or perhaps cabin-fever induced insanity? You can be the judge, I reckon. Anyway, since I'm struggling with things like organization or being linear or whatnot, I thought I'd just do a quick list of things going on...

My co-op has it's buyout scheduled for late March. I'm one of the ones interested in taking out a small loan for what's more-or-less a big security deposit, which I get back and then some when/if I leave the apartment someday.(The co-op has been talking to a small-bank lender who specializes in co-op situations, which seems helpful.) Whenever I face down a big, big financial thing it makes me feel veeeeeery nervous and alone. But I think that it'll be doable under my current financial situation. It's a *gulp* investment....

My cow-irkers have been worried about my injury, which has made me nervous too. I raided my Medica copy of Stuff That Could Be Bad...and of course it's in-between "Self-Care" and "Phone-up the Nurse." Usually I just arnica the hell out of a bruise and let it heal and don't worry about it. This one had me more worried because it was just so damn BIG...It's the size of a small plate on my thigh, in a heart shape. (Awwww...) I'm pretty sure I bruised the muscle under it, so it's been pretty red in the middle, but this morning it looks and feels like it's healing the way it should...

I've been fighting with a sweater at home in between projects. I think I've finally got the neckline in a shape that won't make me annoyed every time I try to wear it. Other projects include Halfmoon Molly's smoke ring (now spun up in luuuuuuvely pink and orange and yellow yarn) and some cratures for cow-irkers.

HBO's "Rome" is scarily addictive.

I want hot chocolate so bad it hurts.

I'm full of advice about your bruise, but it sounds as though you are doing what needs to be done. here's some other advise though, please don't do it again.

It's very soft yarn I done spun myself...

The smoke ring is about half-finished. I think I may have to do a row before I go to bed, because it's soooooo very nice:)
