msfledermaus | Sleepy morning with tea...

I've got a little time this morning, so I'm goofing off a little before work. I was watching old videos on Youtube and drinking tea to wake up. The island gets so quiet this time of morning.
Sometimes I can't believe how quiet, since I'm used to busy streets and crazy people shouting outside my windows and whatnot. Quiet and cold...it keeps reminding me of the Petit Trianon scenes from the Marie Antoinette movie. Granted, the movie didn't have snow and bone-chilling temperatures or anything...

It's warmed up a touch over here--about 9 degrees or so last night when I dropped off co-op paperwork for my management office and signed release forms. The paperwork was easy enough; just copies of the same stuff I gave them when I moved in, and not much has really changed. It's the beginning processes for the co-ops buyout, and I'm a little nervous about the whole process. I'm formally making a wee part of this island mine, financially and whatnot. *gulp* I just hope I don't run into any snags...

Time for me to get a move on and put on all the many, many layers of outdoor clothing. I always feel like a big woolly yeti when I'm finished. Well, at least I'm a warm and stylish yeti...
