A handful of friends and I went to Lili's Burlesque last night to celebrate St Patrick's day early. It was an incredible amount of fun, and sometimes we all laughed so hard it hurt; that good kind of hurt. There was *lots* of glitter and rhinestones involved; it made me want to run out and buy a Bedazzler and do horrible things with it until I was dragged away by the authorities...

I also finished my large orange carryall this weekend. It looks stunning; I took some blurry pictures with cellphone and I can upload them after workies is done today. I am absurdly proud of myself. It's always a good feeling to make something out of mostly nothing. I made the bag out of free rug yarn the Textile ladies at work gave me and some black denim from an old skirt. I spent not one penny, I tellya!! Not one...leaving more pennies for bath goop, chocolate and pretty knee-socks...

And the drop spindle is sitting perkily in the bag, with some blue-black and magenta yarn spun around it. I'm so glad I got a chance to play with the irresistable roving for a little while, chilling out on the couch and watching a really really bad vampire movie. "Dusk Till Dawn 3?" Ummmm...don't bother, unless you want the braincells to die whimpering with pain...
