Today's a good, straightforward sort of day...but I feel a little off somehow. Kinda dizzy, just a bit. Perhaps it was just low blood sugar; I just consumed a bunch of homemade chili, which should fix things a touch. I hope so...I have dinner with friends tonight, and I want to be spry and happy for the friendliness that should ensue...

There's been a handful of stuff going on. The Jade Mines are still kind of a bumpy ride...one day is up, one day is crazy. I suspect my performance review is coming up soon. Performance reviews make me reeeeeeeeeally nervous after dealing with Mr. Sta-Puft, my old boss. I just keep telling myself, "No matter what happens, it can't be any worse than Mr. Sta-Puft. Nothing was worse than that." So I'll take that with me when it's time to have it...

In fact, I should go check my mail box to see if they snuck the paperwork for it in while I wasn't looking. More later...
