...It's sometimes the simple things that make a morning good...

I'm gonna go back to work today. I think I'm okay enough to not whine horribly if I get through the day. I've got lots of fizzy cold tablets and such to help me feel better, too.

I kept thinking of how I could make a bubble for me to work in so I don't catch whatever the other guards or the hordes of germy children bring in. I have to go back and find the old Weebl and Bob piece with the bubble-boy, shrieking about germs and um...nearly drowning in his own filth and...okay okay, maybe I shouldn't go looking for that. *shudder* But honestly, it was funny!!!

I know today it's the anniversary of the Virginia Tech shootings...my heart goes out to the survivors. I know it's a hard day today. *sits very quietly for a minute*

Being sick and missing work is the worst. I started my morning sneezing the shower. It's a record 15 times. XD I'm glad you're feeling better!!!

I'm lucky I missed work, apparently--there was a guy with hostages right down the street, and my work had the SWAT team setting up base in our parking lot. Reeeeally scary. Happily, nobody got hurt, and that's the important thing. But whoa, nelly....*shudder*
