A small list of unrelated things...
Apr. 22nd, 2008 12:32 pmI overslept a bit this morning. Not good. I almost never oversleep, ever. Maybe once a year or so. I blame the thunderstorm that kept jolting me awake because I'm not used to them again...
I helped a small sparrow that was trapped in the bus shelter. The poor thing was beating her tiny wings against the glass, frantic and afraid. I shooed her under the glass and she flew away with her mate. I am a good munkay.
I've got a pretty good combination of boredom and crazed running back and forth today. On the boring bits I've been thinking of what to wear to Ben and Peaty's wedding, and making up fun hairpieces in my head. On the crazy bits I'm yelling, "Hey now, stop with the touching already!"
There's about 10 or so National Geographics that some kind person left in the break room. I *loooove* National Geographic. I've been ransacking them ever since. Didja know that the sun has tornadoes? Didja? I didn't. Also, the sunlight that is shining on you right now took about a hundred thousand years to make it's way from the center of the sun, and eight minutes from it's surface. Cool, huh?
So there you are...and I'll be in the corner here, looking through the other magazines at harp seals and frogs and whatnot:)
