My little tour of the Jade Mines was lots of fun...Annablume and Scentedwoods and her lovely husband came, as well as the Pink Satan, the Queen of Stuff and Mcohenmn. We started a little late, but that was to be expected--the Children's Theatre was having a play, so they all had to wade through tons of squeaky, hyperactive kids to find me. I also felt a bit bad hurrying people along to all the decapitations, ghosts and whatnot, but they didn't seem to mind, since I brought them decapitations, ghosts and whatnot. (I even showed off the Secret Severed Head, found somewhere you really wouldn't expect. I can't tell you--it's a secret!!)Several strangers also tried to join my group at various points, but quickly left when they figured out I wasn't a Real Docent. (What was their first clue? The choker with the eyeball in the middle, the bauhaus t-shirt or the fact that I was talking about grave robbers and unscrupulous mummification?)

We all had a great deal of fun...

And at the end? There was cupcakes!! Birthday cupcakes, my favorite kind!
