Eeeek! Todays the day!!! Ben and Peaty are getting married!!
I've got my best black clothes washed and polished. I dyed my hair black with a bleached streak in the front...it's very cute:) (the end still has a bit of blue-green from the indigo in the henna I used...ah well, maybe I can hide it from the bosses when I go back to work.) The boys have two outdoor grills going at the moment.I dropped off my wedding gift a day early--a copy of a Japanese painting from the Met. The Crazy Neighbor is giving them the best present of all--the moving truck is here, and he's leaving for good. Woot! The Queen of Stuff is in my backyard getting all the corsages ready, including the one for the ringbearer, Vera the goat. Just. So. Very. Cute...
A bunch of us did the wedding-party walk through last night, finished the broom they're going to jump and spent the evening watching trashy tv with bits of tinfoil on our heads to keep the bleach in. The CIA will never be able to read our thoughts now, babies!!! Never! Tin foil and stupid celebrity gossip shows are well known to jam orbital mind-control lasers from The Man...And if they could read our minds now, they'd be totally horrified and never, never look in again!!! The lip-gloss! The horrible lip-gloss!!!
*giggle*
So, yes, looking forward to my best friends' wedding...wish them luck, folks!!! We're gonna need it, just to keep the ringbearing goat from eating the corsages!
*checks inside the fridge for nibble-marks on the corsages*
