*Shakes head to clear it*
I've been trying hard to appreciate my downtime this weekend. We're all so glad the RNC's gone that both cities need a collective stiff drink. but it's hard...I've been that fragile, crabby sobby tired I get when I've just have enough. But today's been better. The Liz is coming over for dinner, and Peaty's has a present for me in a while...two whole fleeces!! I'm torn between gratitude and fretting about how the hell I'm going to wash all that wool. My friends keep telling me to invite over friends for a fleece-washing workshop, which isn't a bad idea. Local ladies and gentlemen of LJ, if you would like to come to a weekend workshop concerning wool, please answer here in this space. I'm considering doing this next Saturday afternoon. I can also teach you how to spin with a drop spindle when we're all sick of washing wool. I'm almost positive wet wool will be thrown at each other, and a chicken may wander past for no good reason. Otherwise I'll be washing wool, alone, all alone...unless I bully Peat into doing it for me, since it's his fault.
Also, Ben the Neighbor has a new and interesting feature on his Myspace: True Gothic Translations. I think it's completely genius and he must do more...many more! (Heh...about half the translations were suggested by me...guess which ones? Heeheehee!) Look here
