Drama drama drama...

...This week I've been struggling with lots of drama. Apparently, so has just about everybody else lately, in big and small ways. People generally are kind of tense and unhappy, it seems...

Of course, today I'm comparing it all to this day seven years ago...and the drama seems very washed out and pale by comparison. I went back in my calendar and reread my posts from that day, as well as some other friends' posts. I've got a post here about that afternoon, after everybody went home from work and sat in their respective living rooms, not knowing what to do, not able to reach anybody. I had my own stupid drama at the time as well--I'd just broken up with someone, and it wasn't going well, which just added to the awfulness...

And I got through it like everybody got through it--by remembering that there are people I care about that care for me, and sometimes that's enough...

I hope that it's okay ..
You're great, and we all have to go through what we go through .. even in going through things which are, by most accounts bad things, I know that I do learn (eventually), in ways I wouldn't have.

Not that I wouldn't have traded that learning for, well, not - as - bad experiences in these cases -- but, the point is, we get through it all, and manage to become people who do cool things, in the process ..

Anyway, can I get any vaguer ..

I read your post about 9-11...it was really good, and very touching.

And yeah, there's always something good to learn from bad things, I think...
