From mopey to dopey...

msfledermausWe're all in a mood at work lately...it's just been feeling pretty Orwellian recently, and everybody is feeling resentful about it all. I came home a little depressed, with a text message in my pocket from Peaty saying, "Hey, wanna go get sushi?"
Two hours later Ben, Peaty, Matt and I are all crammed in a booth, looped on sake and fighting each other with chopsticks for the last green curry chicken gyoza. Ben and I have exciting ideas for leftover turkey curry dumplings with cranberry-chili dipping sauces...it's just so crazy it just might work. We might have to come back Friday night, even, for the sumo wrestling and suchlike...
Funny enough...I feel better for it. I should be hungover, but I'm not. Somewhere there is a Hangover God holding his head and cursing my name:)
