Catching up...

msfledermausI'm behind on all my catching up online...I've been a busy creature:/ I missed Sirreal13 and I wish him a very happy belated birthday. *blows kiss*
Anyway, here's a short list of what I got up to while I was away...
I sent off some Etsy sales at the post office. I am a proud creature:) I also spun up some new yarn I call Invader Zim--I haven't taken a picture yet, it's still drying in the shower...but it's cool stuff, and I am very pleased with it.
A bunch of us went to go visit The Pink Satan in the hospital. She's still very tired and weak, and the doctors are still trying to figure out how to treat her for her ailments. It was a good visit though, and we painted her toenails since they were just sticking out from under the blanket, all toe-like and begging for nail polish...In theory they should be letting her out soonish, but they keep delaying her release. We've joked about getting a generator and stealing her away in her hospital bed, rolling her down the street with the Machine That Goes Ping trailing behind her...
Ben and Peaty and the Sweeties and I all went to Mojo-i for sake and nibbles. Peaty's new career as a burlesque dancer is going well, and the fez I lent him was a big, big hit. Everybody he knows is now ransacking their supplies for various funny costumes for him to try.
I suggested for Valentine's day he could be a really funny Cupid, covered in glitter and goofing off with Fatima the dove onstage. I may have to cover a fake bow in glitter at some point very, very soon...
Now I'm at the workies, and muttering like everybody else in the city at the darkening sky and the rainy torrents that will freeze rock-hard by the time we all go home. I'm going to a friend's birthday dinner, so we'll see how the weather turns out. Wish me luck!
