msfledermausI'm tired.
Last night I had a snafu with the Maushaus--nothing serious, just the energy audit my co-op was planning for a while. (Their conclusion, I'm sure, is that the Maushaus is a drafty old barn and I really could use a storm window in the kitchen--the one I've been begging Maintenance to give me.) I got a couple of snarky voicemails from Rocky about my furnace filter. I'd been asking everybody here from when I moved in where it was located so I could change it, and possibly someone to show me how to change it, with no luck. Apparently it's in my *ceiling!* I can barely sort of reach it with my step-ladder, and Ben the Neighbor and I got it down last night, but I felt horrible...there's all kinds of repairs I was promised would be fixed--some of them before I even moved in. The whole stupid furnace thing was the last straw --I sobbed my guts out for about an hour,mostly out of pure frustration...I slept badly too, so I'm just exhausted right now, but hi ho, hi ho, it's off to the Jade Mines I go...
At least when my co-op finally does the buyout, we can DUMP this management company--they're worse than useless. And I've saved up all the dinero I need, so I won't even need a loan. Go team me...
