It's been a quiet day...I've been spending it thinking of knitting designs and the movie Coraline:)

And today I got a nice surprise. I ran into an old high-school friend on Facebook. Never mind eighty gazillion people from high school that I didn't like much found me first and tried their damnedest to get me to go to the reunion. Oog. But it's nice to find one friend I'm actually glad to hear from. It still doesn't keep me from thinking that Facebook is still a pastel suburban version of my beloved, beloved LJ...

Now I must put away the delicious bison and pasta I made...I snarfed it like a starving woman, because I was starving...

i feel like lj is a place to go a little deeper. and fbook is a place to contrive a superficial version of yourself and spray it everywhere.

Precisely...I feel that on LJ, people like my blog not for who I am or where I went to school or whatever, but for it's content. On Facebook, I'm just my name with a bunch of people I know, blathering about the great cheese sandwich we all ate that day or something:P
