msfledermaus | Tired but happy...

Last night was really, really good. I danced like a crazyperson and Voltaire was gut-splittingly funny. My friends were glorious, and there was a fantastically beautiful steampunk fashion show going on in the back. I also got my copy of "Paint it Black" signed by Voltaire before it got really crowded. (It was great..we'd brought Eve, the snake Peaty uses in his act, and had her in a small plastic cage covered with a towel to keep her warm. I set it on the edge of Voltaire's table, and he raised an eyebrow in a "What's in there?" kind of expression. I uncovered Eve and we both grinned as I yelled, "Snake for the snake charmer's act!"
It was very loud, so we mimed me buying stuff, him signing stuff, and he even spelled "Mausi" right...

Oh man...even with how tired I am, I feel like I got ten years knocked off my age:)

Now I've got the bunny out, and I'm going to cook a huge breakfast, since I skipped dinner last night. Then I'm going to see if I can get a giant nap in...
