msfledermausUrgh. There's tons of housework I haven't had a chance to do this week because it's been that kind of week. I've got some laundry chugging away in Chug-chug the washing machine, more handwash drying in the bathrooom. I've got a cage to clean, floors to sweep, dishes to wash, more laundry giving me that accusatory look inanimate objects do when you neglect them, books to shelve, rugs to shake out...
Then there are the projects. I still have a sweater to finish. A package to mail. More stuff to spin. Perhaps a sketch to begin for a friend. I would really love to reorganize my walk-in closet and parts of the kitchen...I just don't have that kind of time or energy right now. I was hoping that if the week-furlough plan went through at the Jade Mines I could use the time to do some needful house-stuff, but it seems the plan has fallen through...so I just have to slog though the week for a while like everybody else, getting things done when and if I have a minute.
And then there is much-needed Bunny time. Shamu is a patient little guy, but he shouldn't have to wait too much for some quality petting on the couch. At least he slows me down a bit, and lets me know that nothing's more important than just sitting for a minute with him...
Heh, he's sitting on a cushion, like he owns the living room. Well, he kinda does, I suppose:)
