msfledermausI'm enjoying the first thrunderstorm of the year today...This weekend I bought some plants for the garden, and now they're getting a good, long drink. It makes me so happy to see the little clusters of pansies and lavender plants in their flowerpots, sitting jauntily out on the front porch...
It's been an active weekend. I've had lots of people over and there's been really amazing food and walks and good company. It's looking more and more likely that Liz and Nick will be able to move into the Pink House, and Phil and Karen in the Purple House have a lovely garden space that's coming along nicely, and I'm knitting them a bean trellis out of jute rope and the largest needles I own. I'm happy but tired...tonight I'm just cleaning up a bit and having some quiet. Maybe I'll finish my lovely lovely zombie book tonight:)
Now I must go wrangle umbrellas before they get into the Jade Mines...
