It was a really busy day yesterday, but it was all worthwhile...Liz and Nick made it into the co-op! They'll be my new neighbors in the Pink House!!

*does gleeful neighbor dance*

Now I gotta shovel some caffeine into me and get my sorry butt to workies...Meeeeehhhhh...

We'll have to dig a subterranean residence beneath the Island to lay in readiness until I can convince Beth to move. It'll have to be large enough to store 3,000 books and 20 years of Gourmet back issues. Then, let the fine dining start! (Of course, it has already, only without us.)

I don't think we'll even have to excavate that much...there's old mushroom, storage and smuggling caves underneath the Island that I hear are fairly large, leftover from the railroad days. We'll just have to make the occasional spoooooooky noises to scare the high school kids away from your posh culinary underground lair...

But seriously, if you do wish to add your names to the co-op list, we can do that. There's two 2-bedroom spaces opening up in late summer, and I bet you and Beth would qualify:) (I know that's not much lead time, and it takes a long time for a serious move, but it takes a while to work your way up the list... and you can always say no while still staying on the list.
