Dreaming and wakefulness...
Jun. 18th, 2009 02:53 pmI bolted out of bed this morning all freaked out because I had slept late.
I shoved myself into the shower, muttering anxiously to myself, and then when I got out I checked the clock again. I didn't wake up late--I woke up fifteen minutes early. I must have had an anxiety dream about oversleeping so badly that it woke me up early. *shakes fog out of ears.* Usually clocks, light switches and cellphones don't work in my dreams, so how did I read the time the way I did? Strange stuff...
I'm finally more awake, but it took a while--it doesn't help that I'm in the Hunt exhibition, surrounded by lush, beautiful colors. It's like I'm dreaming again...except it's a dream where people try to touch things and my feet hurt. At least it's my Friday, and not much more to go...
And then I can sleep in, and dream things that aren't related to the clock-radio:)
