The War of the Pokity...
Jun. 22nd, 2009 08:37 amCaptain Emily and I got into a big Poke-fight over the weekend. It was in the driveway, and while she was faster I had better grip-strength. It ended in a tie...or did it?
On Facebook, Emily went "Pokity!" at me. Cheeky wench. So I called her up when she was at work, announced, "Pokity!" and slammed the phone down, giggling. Soooooo, she came back later to the Link where I was working with a memo for me...
"It has come to my attention pokity that you are in the middle of some pokity poke poke poke pokety. Moving on, pokity pokity poke poke poke poke pokity pokity pokity pokity..." Under this, was a piece of paper with "POKITY!" in the largest font she could find, over and over and over...
But was this over? Ummmmmm...no.
I went to my locker. Taped to the door was another sheet of Pokity. There was another taped to the inside of my locker. And on the side. And stuffed in my bag. In large and small fonts, completely covering the paper...So. Much. Pokity...
Last time I had something like this going on, I won with a pizza with the words, "Tag!" written on the top of the box... I have a cunning plan, that does not involve pizza. But I can't tell you yet, since she reads this journal sometimes...
Also, Gaily-Waily got into a fight with some ladies in long, flowing Victorian dresses this weekend...but that's another story...
