I'm having a nice, nourishing breakfast today. Lots of salmon for brain-food. Because later on today I have my first meeting back as one of the Union stewards at the Jade Mines. And we're talking about mandatory furloughs and eventually more layoffs and such...

I'm also bringing asprin. Lots of asprin...

Maybe I can replace the water cooler with Grey Goose...we'd all feel better. Loopy, but better:)

Are you a good person to whom to ask a seemingly-simple question about vodka? I tried posing the question to Mr. Bali Hai (Matt Marchese) and he drew a complete blank, which blows my mind because of his black belt in mixology.

I like that idea even better than bourbon in a thermos!

I could give it a shot--vodka is a tasty, useful beverage. Shoot.

We may need a separate cooler for that stuff...

Anyway, instead of getting my cow-irkers sloshed, I went home, went to bed and had work-nightmares:p

We've got an Italian acquaintance at the farmer's market who has been known to lament that there is no melon vodka over here which compares to the stuff he used to get in old Italy. The three brands of melon vodka I've seen around here are Smirnoff, Skyy, and Van Gogh, and he says it's none of these. He doesn't remember the brand, or know how to get it. Do you have any idea what it might be?
