msfledermausI've been wrestling with R's chess graphic interfaces and getting a little annoyed. Can't someone out there design something so stupid that even I can get it to someone without it thumbing it's highly technical nose at me? (to be fair, I did figure out a lot of stuff about it alone and more with someone giving me tips to try, but dammit, it's not as cool as the stuff Richard sent me. Like it or not, I'd better get gooder fast..(I guess the assumption is that someone savvy enough to play chess would be able to figure out this stuff...Hmmm...
No more sniveling, I promise--I'm at coffee this afternoon, hanging out with Bir and intending to get some shopping done and other happy mindless thngs like that. Manic Panic calls my name!!! I still have things to send to Freekee as well, that I should have sent yesterday.
Sadly, I relapsed a bit Friday afternoon, and ran a bad fever with coughing..of course *then* tons of people decided to be passive-agressive and evil about things they wanted at the last minute. It was nightmarish. I'm feeling better now, but have a REAL healthy respect for this goddamn virus.
It will sneak behind you while you're happily making a cup of tea and try to sandbag you at the back of the head, drag you home and cook you for it's children!!!!Vile, vile critter!! I'm encouraging all my friends who haven't been knocked silly by this thing to take echinaecia, flu shots, every vitamin you can get ANYTHING...you will need it!!! It wants you bad!!!
I can hear this sucker waiting patiently until I get tired of eating chicken soup...and attacking AGAIN!!!!EVIL!!!!TOTAL EVILLLLL!!!!!
Speaking of evil, that George guy is now official Leader of the Formerly-Known-as-Free-World...Tell me I'm dreaming, somebody. I can't help but make a small "Ullgh" noise every time I see that smug, smirking face pop up. "Ullgh!! Not unity again!!Ullgh ullgh ullgh!" This is not going to be a fun 4 years...
