This afternoon my captain at work got sick, really sick. We had to call an ambulance. It looks like some kind of virus, but no confirmation on the piggy sniffles yet...

Greta's about eighty or so, a tiny, spry Jewish grandmotherly type of lady. She's very stubborn and funny, and it was so hard to watch her get wheeled out on a gurney. I have hopes the stubborn streak helps her get better; her children told my boss that she's already feeling better in the hospital...

So tonight I'm making salmon noodle hot-dish. Comfort food...
