A quiet night with the Voices In My Head...

It's a beautiful night, with red maple leaves coasting on the breezes...and the voices in my head have a chance to decompress from a long week:


Rational Me: "I am a bit proud of myself, I must say...got through the week, did some cleaning before company came, took care of the practical bunny-stuff. All good things."

Maternal Me: "Whoza widdle fuzzy-wuzzy tribble-thing, huh? Awwwwwww...."

Snarky Me: "Oog, get a grip on yourself. That's sick. You're making me a little nauseous with the cooing!"

Rational Me: "Yeah, don't do that, being sick would be unfortunate, especially with all the tasty food we just ate."

Greedy Me: "For a change, I'm feeling pretty happy, because of the aforementioned tasty things..."

Lazy Me: "Yeah, I think downtime on the couch is in order for us all...Creative and Bad are passed out over by Crazy there. Um, Crazy, you doing okay?"

Crazy Me: "The noodles are my best, best friends...I love you, noodles...zzzzz"

Maternal Me: "That's so cute. Crazy was so happy to find the salt and pepper squid in the food order. She kept squeaking about the tentacles."

Rational Me: "Jeez, now all the ids are in a cuddle-pile of snooze, maybe I can get something done around here...except, honestly? I'm tired too."

Lazy Me: "C'mon, Rational. One of us....one of us... Do not fight the lure of the Comfy Couch(tm)"

Rational Me: "You know, I read this article in Newsweek about scientists proving that naps aid memory and hep concen....concen...concentration...no, really, just a short snooze. For science. For the thinking...zzzzzzzz...."



And we can now return you to your scheduled evening, without further interruptions...

ou're never alone with the voices inside your head.
Fortunately mine get along aside from ocasional loud argguements.
I might need to speak to thier landlord about that.
