Maybe it's the weather or the season, but I've been fairly uninspired lately. It's mostly about Getting Things Done, to make room for more things that need to be done. And workies--I promise, I'll get my brain going and tell you all about the ongoing guardie meltdown we now call, "PajamaGate" But at six in the morning, I'm just not awake enough to really do it justice...

But grump as I do, things really aren't bad. I had the nicest dinner last night with Matt and Erin and the Gaily-Waily at Jasmine 26, and I think that cheered us all up immensely. I've got a nice bathroom shelf from an Ikea run that really isn't that bad--all black and curlicue and whatnot. A cow-irker's asked me to knit a teeny hat-and-scarf combo for his dashboard bobbleheaded hula-guy. *snerk* I can't wait to knit that, I tellya...

Man, do I ever relate to that first sentiment! I realized I have not written anything of substance since .. well, a while, and there has actually been stuff going on in my life to talk about. I am all about just getting through crap right now .. it's all obligation at this point and not a lot of frisky fun.
