Dear Santy-Claws...
Dec. 23rd, 2009 07:54 amDear Santy-Claws;
I know this year my letter to you is on the late-ish side. I've just been really busy, busy, busy. Mostly with things that hopefully keep me on the Good list--getting the right things, helping others, cleaning, knitting, sewing, trying to teach Shamu to read. (It's slow going, he keeps trying to eat the books.) But it's not nice to bury my own wishes, either, so here goes...
If The Sack happens to have any of these in stock, I'd be a grateful thing:
A large bunneh-condo. (Okay, Shamu added this one. His current home is fairly roomy, but he keeps telling me he'd like a loft, since he's an Urban Bunneh. I won't argue.)
All kinds of fun books. Especially goofy bedtime reading. It's a very soothing thing, having a quiet read by the eerie red lights of the Gothmas tree...
A big sack of time--I know, I keep asking for this one--what is this, year 3? 4? Can't be helped--I could really use it. You should see how big my laundry pile is. A big bag of time could knock that out, no problem. It would help me be good, right? So it's not an unreasonable thing to ask for...
I realize this next one is a bit difficult for the Sack to produce, but what the hell--to survive the co-op buyout with my sanity and finances relatively intact. I keep losing sleep over this thing, and now it's finally coming up in spring. Oog.
While I'm on the subject, howzabout a nice big bag of sleep-sand? I bet Morpheus could spare a bag. Some nights hot milk just won't cut it...
Something fun. I don't know what. You've got the Sack, I bet it could pop up some fun thing I never knew I wanted. I only know it's sparkly, and will crack me up every time I see it. Otherwise I trust your judgement...
Family Harmony. Okay, everybody asks for this right about now, and almost nobody gets it, either. It doesn't hurt to ask, though...
So there we are. I've got a very nice honey liqueur to add to the milk and cookies, if you're interested. I'll sweep the fireplace hearth, even though it's boarded up. (You always seem to manage.) Thanks again for keeping me on the Good List...
Love,
Ms Mausi.
