My neighbor Leslie left me this great voicemail where she sang to me, because I stole the snow from her front and side walk. I'm very touched. Not least because she's famous for performing, and her singing is amazing...
I'm finished with my Foot in the Door piece. Now the tricky part--delivering it and not being late coming back to the floor. I guess we'll all just play it as it goes...
The knitting project I'm making is coming along very nicely. It's an amazingly satisfying and oddly easy pattern to follow. Now I just need a little more yarn...
I had a snarfing night where I ordered a nice big pizza. There's leftovers for lunch and dinner, which I will hide from the Lunch Thief. I will layer raw carrots and miso soup packets over the top, so he thinks it's just my usual Weird Lunch-bag, and not the tastiness that lies within...
I haven't broken anything. This year, that's an accomplishment. Lots of people I know are hurt or fractured lately, and yesterday I helped a little kid who we're pretty sure fractured his wrist. Poor kid. Poor everybody...
So, basically things are chugging along. Now the great question: What kind of valentine's chocolates am I going to stuff into that late 70's Elvis candybox at home? Hmmmmm...
