Turtle shells are a real pain to draw, but I enjoyed my art-deco swanky shell with the top hat. Heh...

Before, I didn't have the tech. Then my creative stuff got dragged off by the yarny demons. I'm trying to get a lot of my drawing chops back, so I think there should be more drawings coming soon!

If these drawings don't get people interested in the Total Turtle Tea Trolley, I don't know what will.

And, yes, the dust ruffles and hats are part of the Tea Turtles' ordinary apparel. They wouldn't be dressed without them.

I do wonder what they wear when they're not off with the trolley, having adventures. Maybe little smoking jackets to go with the fezzes while their dust-ruffles are in the wash?

I always pictured them au naturel when they weren't trolleying.

They wear aprons and toques when they're fixing food for the next day's Trolley runs. When they have off time, they wax and buff each others' shells with Turtle Wax, hang out by the lily pad behind TTTT HQ (in the warmer months), fix each other little omelettes, paint, and tutor Sedgwick, the sixth and youngest Tea Turtle. He's working on his Elementary School Equivalency Exam.

But in the winter months, smoking jackets while they sit by the fire sound fabulous.
