Kabooooom!

msfledermausIt's always an adventure having Fourth of July on the Island...
This year was great--fairly quiet at first, which was nice. Fleur and Matt and Erin and I hung out on the Patio, nibbling delicious things and catching up on all the gossip. When we went for a walk later, we saw Cory's houseboat was back after a long winter, and got a chance to hang out for a while and catch up there as well. Lots of fun giggling all around.
Later on the weird party on our Central Park got kind of loud, with lots of extra kabooms, but the city fireworks display was really great. I finally drifted off to sleep when the crazed kabooming finally died down...
Now, lucky thing that I am, I get to get up reeeeeal early to go to workies. At least it should be a very, very quiet day, and when I get home there will be some serious sacking out on the couch.
