Perking up a little...

I feel like I'm coming out the other side of this cold. I'm still feverish and have the occasional cough or sneeze, but I'm definitely feeling a little better. So tonight I'm celebrating with homemade bread pudding and some wild rice and sausages with peppers and onions. I'll make enough that I'll have leftovers for tomorrow, when I drag my butt back to the Jade Mines...

But tonight, early bedtime and a hot bath. I'm not all the way there yet...

I used to make a homemade bread pudding--cooked, not baked, when the kids were all at home. I LOVED it myself. Maybe I'll make some of that for myself.

Ooooo....bread pudding. My mom used to make a small bowl for me and the rest for the family, because I don't like raisins at all.
Mom was a good mom.
