I've been quite the lethargic thing recently...it hasn't been good for me. I could have blamed all the things I blame for that sort of thing--the weather, the Mines, the weather again, the chores, the weather still again...but it didn't really help the lethargic need to sit on the couch and go,"Buhhhhhhh..." like something out of a Romero film.

But today? I perked up a bit. I had a really easy day at the Mines, so that probably helped, as well as a weekend where I mostly wrapped as many blankets around me as I could and slept. So when I got home today I was a little productive storm of puttering, making up for lost time. I washed the dishes, cooked some gumbo, ate the gumbo, and blathered to loved ones over the phone about how cool the gumbo was. I did some laundry. I took down the Gothmas tree. Yes, it took me until the middle of January to take down the Gothmas tree. But it was so pretty...all twinkly lights and bats hanging from the branches. Anyway, down it came, and it was shoved into various bags and boxes to wait for another year, in deepest danky darkness...

I also packed up some yarn I'd sold and got it ready for shipping tomorrow. Then I took some decent photos of some new yarns I'd made, and stuck them on Etsy. Here's my favorite:

Now that I'm running out of steam, I have just enough oomph to put away the laundry, corral the Bunneh and get some sleep. I hope I can hang onto this productive streak. Maybe it was the guava and ginseng tea I had today? Or maybe Cynnerth has the Orbital Mind-control Laser on "Get offa your butt and DO things, already!" It's an evil, evil setting...
