Apropos of Nothing...

I'm just enjoying sitting quietly in the kitchen for a bit. It's sunny, and I love the view out my window...

Recently I've had a cow-irker writing about making lots of changes in his life. That's great,I support that sort of thing, but he keeps blathering on about it and trying to make people who make different choices feel bad about it. The thing that really irked me was his calling contentment,"The ass-end of happiness"

Well. Sounds to me like he isn't doing contentment right at all...

*looks out at the river, the sun and the growing things for a while...*

I think it's likely. I don't really know the guy very well. We know some people in common, and his blog is roguepriest.net. On the surface, we have some things in common, but the more I read the more I don't like it...

It shouldn't bother me, but I saw him on the Island the the other night with some pals, getting into the tunnels under the Island--which is stupid, and dangerous. He's lucky the cops didn't have to come and unstick him and his buds. I had a totally irrational urge to yell, "Hey, get offa my damn island! You're gonna break something, mister!"

If you don't enjoy the good times in the moment, what's the point of having them?

He needs to write more about himself and what he's doing, and less about what other people aren't doing. Other people = not his business.
