A weekend full of weirdness...

This weekend was weird. Very weird. But there were some good points...

Like the Rogue Docent tour of Nicollet Island. We had lots of fun, even though it started to rain at the end of the tour. People got to pet Sita the chicken. Ben the Neighbor was fantastic, helpful with bits of local knowledge I lacked, and the bickering was not nearly as bicker-y as I thought it would be...

Also, today at the Mines, I ran into my friend Autodidactic at the Jade Mines. She and her husband looked healthy and happy and well, and I was very glad to see them, even in my polyester finery...

There's work for me tomorrow, but I have cookies to bring to keep my cow-irkers and myself happy. And maybe a steak to cook for dinner when I get home.

There was also a fair amount of yarn-mailing to Australia. I guess it's getting chilly down there, and Australians dig me. They just do. I don't question it much:)


Now I'm going to settle into the couch and see how far I can sink...

I'm picking a pattern to make a nice orange cardigan and I'm planning on using the yarn you spun for me into some kind of cool accent on the shoulder/down the back. Can't wait!!
