The weather has been increasingly bizarre and threatening today...storming, sunny, hot, cool, now thinking about storming again. It's very confused, this weather...

Things have been coming to a close lately everywhere...my workplace finished our contract negotiations. Layoff drama is coming to an end, for now. (I'm safe.) Lots of things seem to be finishing up. I wonder what will replace them?

I ran into an old cow-irker at the Mines today. I lured him to a staff appreciation meeting with a candy bar, and we caught up over coffee and brownies. He looks so much happier, now that he's back in school. I'm glad, and I'm glad he stopped by for a while to harass his old colleagues...

Even with the muggy heat, I've been spinning again. I took a short break, just because it was hot and I was feeling tired. Now I feel more inspired, and there are the beginnings of some really lovely yarns coming out of the Rainy Day Craftroom. Plus my neighbor Rocky gave me some hot-pink and lime-rickey green thread to play with. I have a vision...a terrifying, pinkish vision!! *rubs hands with glee*

Aw man, was that more thunder I just heard? I might have to shut down the computer here real soon...
