My boss is back, and thee's gonna be trouble...

Hey la, hey laaa, my boss is back!!
(Early. Damn.)

What did I do last night? I...slept. I cleaned up the apartment a little, made dinner, read a while, did sit-ups, and slept on and off for 10 hours. I dreamed at one point I was some adventurer-type riding a camel caravan into a big Middle-Eastern city, (and being followed by someone who annoyed me) and then going into some type of adventurer's club, changing clothes and attending some strange formal dinner. (Funny, I haven't been watching any 40's serials or Indiana Jones movies. Or Lawrence of Arabia, either.) Now I want a fez...

Wearing: thin brown t-shirt, black and brown checked pants, black shoes, hair tie. A fair amount of sweat. (It's HOT again.)

Drinking: Water to cool down from the cup of straight coffee I chugged.

Feeling: Very hot and unproductive. I didn't pain t last night, ither.

Wondering: Where the hell is that thunderstorm we were supposed to have last night? Where's the Kaboom? We were promised an earth-shattering Kaboom!!!

Happy because: i just got paid. Wheeee!

Sad because: most of this check goes straight to rent and bills, do not pass Go, do not collect 200 dollars.

Longing for: Some time off, which I will try to arrange with HR today if possible. Mmmm, downtime!

I want to: write some poetry, but my attempts lately have been lame or downright awful. Maybe it's time to resurrect the Pretentious Poetry Corner...

I'll start my own moneyless colony!!! There are plenty of deserted islands around, right?

I shall start my own colony and no money shall be allowed and all different types of people shall populate the land and live happily and prosperously, and everyone will give and share and help each other and love one another and we will be the envy of all the world, and everyone will be free to use run-on sentences like their fearless leader Queen Majik!!!

What shall I name this colony? I am taking suggestions....it could be a contest even! YES!

I'm still working on my schedule--my family threw me a couple of loops, (Like my mother's coming to visit!!! Battendown the hatches!!!Awhoooga!) so I'm still figuring out what I can and can't take off.
