Boots and fishnets...

I keep wandering over to links that offer Gothy hosiery and vinyl boots. There's a tiny, tiny voice inside me that's clamoring for a black lace dress, new boots, possibly a black bowler hat with raven feathers in it...and more glitter...must have, cannot live without, please oh please, it yells in it's insistent way...

If I don't keep an eye on myself, Dubya's bribe's going to go straight to Vixens and Angels, Manic Panic, and Amphigorey...The President would be very, very disappointed in me, it's not very Family Values of me...

Maybe I should get extra fishnets after all...

Some of mine is also going to worthy causes, like Planned Parenthood and the Wellstone electon campaign.(that's a bit more long-term.) also paying off a chunk of my credit-card debt, like a good person:)

Dubya won't know what you're spending it on, he just wants people to spend, period, to prove that this tax relief/refund thing will get people spending again and bolster the economy. The only reason I'm spending anything now is that interest rates are so low it makes more sense to spend than to save or invest at the moment.

Bush's Bribe, that's what I heard it called today. He's bribing us with refunded tax dollars so we'll spend it and give the economy a boost. I'd rather invest it, although you could say that my spending on long overdue home improvement projects is actually investing in my home. Beats anything else I can invest in right now.
