Conflict...
Oct. 5th, 2001 08:53 amYesterday going home I saw a guy stagger up to a woman getting into her
car, trying to hit her up for money. I stopped walking and made sure both of them saw me there, and he mumbled and went away. (the poor woman drove off, very quickly...i suppose I would have, too.)
This morning coming to work I saw a different guy purposefully *ram* another man coming the other way, and try to pick a fight with him. He stopped when he saw there was someone else who saw what he was doing, (petite moi.) and stomped off. (I checked with the one who was knocked into; he was fine but startled.)
I know tensions are high, but this is ridiculous.
Ms Eff, who's dropping off a nice present for a leaving coworker this morning...maybe that will weigh the scales the other way just a little.

Mausi-cop...
Date: 2001-10-05 07:35 am (UTC)I was more worried about the people getting bothered than the idiots doing the bothering, for some reason...
Ms Mausi, using the Family glare for the forces of Good...
From out of the blue...
Incidentally, the only reason I'm here is because as I was updating my personal info on my account, I was instantly brought to your page. Really! A ghost in the machine, it would seem (yes, I wrote it to rhyme).
Anyway, have a good one.
best,

Date: 2001-10-05 10:05 am (UTC)Sounds really sad that San Francisco's like that as well. Like we all don't have enough problems without being messed with by strangers:(
Take care;
Ms Eff.
