msfledermaus...Personally I feel optimistic. In a cultural sense, though, there's all the other feelings the Western world has right now...and of course this affects me too.
I'm not ignoring the events that are unfolding all around us today. I'm just letting the cheerfulness have it's way with me before everything else seeps in again...
I keep thinking of two songs--Boingo's "Marching off to war again," and Peter Gabriel's piano version of "Here comes the flood."
