The funeral went better than expected, but it was still quite stressful.. I was very glad I could be there for my grandmother, who needed the support.
I ran into my cousins, and got a chance to catch up.(I met my cousin Heidi's fiance'--turns out he was a neighbor of mine in NE, so we knew each other already!:)
After the funeral, Brian and I bummed around Stillwater for the hell of it.It's still really beautiful there, even with the tons of snow melting everywhere and the slush we jumped over, waded through, and fell into. At dinner that night, we ran into some friends of a coworker of mine, (who are legion) and after chatting excitedly about art, lighting, copper sheets and wire, patinas etcetera, they offered me a job in April if I wanted it as one of their artists. (YYEEEEES!) They offered me full time, part time,and contract work. Good heavens!! I'll be talking to them this week to see what they're looking for and what I can do with my schedule. *Tiny cool victory dance*
