Shit, I just lost an entire post!!!

*Jumps around in frustration*

It was one of the deep ones, too--I was talking about having to call my brother on his birthday and how I wasn't looking forward to it because we don't get along and he and my mother still aren't speaking. And how my closest family members are the ones I chose later when I left home. Stuff like that. And a nostalgic thing about me teaching my brother how to read when we were very small. *plays small violin* It's all gone!!!GONE!!! THE POST IS GONE!!!
(Aheh, I accidentally kit a key that wiped it...rrrrr, it's all human error. *Blush*)

Anyway to sum up, I'll try to remember my brother for the good things in him somewhere without putting up with the stupid, selfish bastard stuff he does now. And see if he can get the nephew up to the phone. I could use a word with a family member I'm not annoyed with. (Okay, he doesn't talk yet, but he has a cute coo. *rueful smile.*)

And after that, I should phone up my other family members..the ones I picked and picked me. I haven't talked to Grandma Lawrence for a bit:)

Ms Eff...If you have family you love, cherish them...blood means nothin' baby, unless you've been going to Aryan Youth Camp again....(what have I said about that? If I've told you once, I've told you a hundred times...)

..I registered in the Minnesota Artists Organization on the Web. (It's still in progress, but it's a website devoted to local artists...I still have to tweak my entry, too.) When it's finished I can put up a link, but it should be sending people my way eventually to peek at my site:) (Yaay!!! Free advertising!!!Yaay!!!)

Not bad for someone who still has trouble loading pics and such...*sigh* it's hard being a bitter Ex-Luddite, I tell you. But I perservere:)

Fun LJ tips for the New User...

I've been getting some very very very nice compliments for my LJ from someone thinking of having one of their own. (Wow! Such a blush I have going on here!)

so in the interests of, well, me, I present...

HANDY HINTS AND TIPS ABOUT LJ
(Feel free to add your own comments...in fact I'd appreciate them mightily.)

1: Be not afraid!!! LJ's pretty damn easy to use. (I'm an ex-bitter luddite, and I've been learning HTML off it and everything, see?

2: Kiss hours of your day goodbye catching up with friends, writing deep thoughts, and mooning people online. (Okay, maybe not the mooning. It better not be the mooing, anyway.)

3: When you're answering a post, try to keep it to the subject and try not to derail the conversation goofing off with another friend.
(I brake this rule*all the time* with Daruba in particular, but I always mean well..D'ohhhhh. Me likes de minkey stuff..)

4: You'll get interesting pals, and some may sign off after a while...that doesn't necessarily mean they don't like you or anything..or maybe they hate you..you and everything you stand for...and people who just look like you...pay them no mind...

5: The basic manners of society are still in place...be kind. (well, yes, it's obvious, but sometimes it's gotta be said, neh?)

6: Nobody outside your LJ obsession cares at all about it...*sniff sniff...bastards..* It just means you must hook them up as soon as possible and make LJ grow...Join ussss...resistance is futile....we have Twinkies....
