Damn, today is good. The heat broke, it's quiet at work, an old friend e-mailed me back...now if only I had a little more sleep.
(I went out to Wednesday Curry again with the Friends What Are Boys.) Maybe I can check a nod on the breakroom table later...meanwhile, I'm a happy happy thing...

I was in a corridor down by A/V and a coworker popped up behind me with a cordless drill. I yelled, "Oh no, there's a MAN following me, and he's got a DRILL!!!" John grinned and chased me down the hallway, the drill going, "riiiz riiiiz" all the way down as I howled "Heeelp, help!"
...5 minutes later, I was in the elevator..and who got on but John, with a big tube of wood glue and a roll of tape. "Aghk!!! He's BA-ack!!!"
I shrieked. (We were the only ones there.) John giggled, and said, "It just keeps getting worse, doesn't it?"
"What's next, John, duct tape, a clown suit and a rubber chicken?"...

...so the next A/V avengers movie from the basement may well have a scene with poor sweet unoffending me in a clown suit duct-taped to a wall with a rubber chicken in my mouth..how DO I get into these things?
